The ‘x’ in this photo, perhaps, marks the most significant place I have ever stood. It most definitely is, when it comes to my own sense of identity and my purpose in this lifetime. I knew this moment was always coming. I was in waiting. It was the moment the identity we refer to as God said, 'You're mine!'.
We were never given free choice by God - or Life - to create whatever lives we desired for ourselves. We could, but if those lives did not reflect the life and teachings of Jesus, or respect God's laws of consent, then our lives are considered by God to be an act of non-consensual abuse. Reality was never ours to do with as we pleased. It always belonged to God. God is 'the life'.
The princes of the world offered God up on a platter and we went for it with a relentless and obsessive enthusiasm. Now, God takes sovereignty over all life, because it’s his.Not yours. Not mine. And not anyone else’s.To be a child of the world – to cash in and profit from its abusive ways - is now formally considered a non-consensual life path. While being like Jesus is no longer religious hearsay and speculation. It is the way.The way to live a consensual life.
God and Jesus are the most exploited and misrepresented identities in the history of life. And often it is those who claim to be faithful who do the exploiting and misrepresenting so they can honour themselves in the eyes of an abusive world. There is nothing more sinister in God's eyes than standing on his shoulders, or the shoulders of Jesus, to impress self-righteous and worldly eyes.
There is great irony in the fact that in the age of the influencer and in a global climate of outrage at abuse the only influencer we haven’t listened to, or taken seriously, is the most abused and violated identity of all. The only influencer who actually matters. God. Who better to know what life needs, than God. Or life itself, if you prefer.
Religions weaken and limit God's right to authority and sovereignty over his own life. They have greedily divided God among themselves, guaranteeing he would be kept at arms length from the abusive world we have created. Conditional expression is the way of life that honours God. It honours and acknowledges all God's direct messengers, but honours Jesus as the true living Word of God. the embodiment of what honouring God should look and feel like.
'As the first school term draws nearer to its close, with education a mess and the lives of our children flooded with violence, anxiety, depression, self-harm and suicide...' This is the sentence that opens this piece. Our children speak to the world that is failing them in many ways, including these things listed here.
In a world that has valued personal and economic profit over keeping the life we belong to sacred, God's own word cannot be given away. Believing in God does not equate to caring for God. In terms of our collective behaviour and actions, God has been treated as nothing. And our actions was all that ever mattered.
If Catholic and Christian schools truly seek to honour God and Jesus by building environments sourced in them, then their instructions and messages should feature in the day-to-day decisions being made in staff meetings - not kept at arm's length in religion lessons. Jesus said he was the way. He is, or he isn't. If he is, the CE one will be guided by is conditional expression. No hiding now - the way of Jesus has a name.
‘I sat on the sand watching the scene before me and wondered what the topic of conversation was between the rock and the tree. What was said was, ‘when do we get to meditate?’ Meaning, when do we – the high-income world - ever allow life to rest. These simple words and the scene before me formed the inspiration for the ‘STOP in 2020’ initiative and my ‘When do I get to meditate ~ Mother Earth’ T-Shirt.’
To all who are travelling a God-centred religious or spiritual path the destination is the same - to live with conditional expression. The only way of life which honours God's life as sacred.
In the beginning was God. Or Life. And, once dark and formless, God - or Life - took form. God is real - a physical, psychological and energetic being. And we, the cellular components of that life, have no greater purpose or responsibility than functioning in a manner that is nourishing to that life.
Are Christian and Catholic schools actually God or Christ-centred? Or are they Christian and Catholic Church-centred. There is a massive difference. Who is asking? God is. Along with Jesus. This discussion is relevant to any religion or spiritua path that owes its identity to God.
Our capacity for creating our own reality is real. But it was no gift. Nor do we have the consent of life to do so, should what we design be traumatic for it. God - or life - has been clear since the beginning of time. 'Do not create individual realities, which are abusive to mine. Do so, and you reject me. And you do so against my wishes and without my consent!'
This year's theme for Reconciliation Week in my homeland of Australia is 'Be Brave, Make Change!' This is wise as it takes far more courage to love where there is hurt, than to cling to that hurt as a source of division. This is true for us as a nation, and for each of us in our individual lives. And in terms of our relationship with ourselves and others. It is not love standing in the way of reconciliation. In a human experience, love knows it can't balk at anything. That's why it is so courageous. To us all, love says, 'I am ready when you are!' This piece was first posted on the 26th of January 2018. What a four years it has been for life. It is her we should love for, more than anything else. For life and our sacred mother do not take sides. As she said to me once in Central Australia - 'Why can't we just love!?'
Dan Foster, on the Medium platform, writes that use of the words, 'God told me to tell you...' represents spiritual abuse. I found this of great personal interest given these words appear on my website. I'm not sure what sort of human being would dare use these words without substance, but there is no greater love in my life than God and I have sworn to defend - not exploit - him. As you will see the real abuse is rejecting what God wishes us to know. Because our rejection of his timeless message has led to his own suffering.
We can all choose to live from two foundations. In the pursuit of our own individual dreams and desires. Or to honour and treat life as it has asked to be honoured and treated.
‘If you reject me, I will give you everything you could ever dream of in the human experience. Or you can honour me and tend to my needs. It is all yours to take. Or sacrifice.' ~ God himself reveals just how contradictory the ways of the high-income world are to his timeless instruction that we live with conditional expression.
A self-righteous crusader, who loved to name-and-shame those who made mistakes had died. They arrive at the gates of heaven, reflecting on a life well-lived. However, Peter is absent, and God waits with one of the victims of their judgement. What does God say?
Phusion Living is the nickname for the way of conditional expression. It is the way of life lived by the Phusion Love Warrior. The mantra, ‘I will dedicate all that I am, to being a nourishing component of life. I love God and life enough to alter my behaviour so that I honour all life as sacred. I reject the freedom to have, be and do whatever I want, when I want, and exercise and embrace my freedom to be what life needs me to be. It is my right to say no to the things which are abusive to life!’
God has been speaking to our world in his greatest hour of need. His message is the same as it has always been. That we live with conditional expression. There is no other way we can give life - God's life - what it needs. While we delay, it should be made clear that it is God who suffers. Jesus has returned - as The Way of conditional expression.
Yoga says, ‘come to me, it is a crazy world and I’ll help you survive it.’ ‘Come to me. You will look great and feel amazing!’ What it was meant to say was, ‘crazy world I am coming to destroy you!’ ‘I serve God and what you are is a violation of his wishes.’ But yoga passed on its duty. Instead of steering humanity in another direction, our sacred collapsed when yoga was at the peak of its popularity and commercial power.
It is the way of our world right now to name and shame anyone we can point the finger at who may - or may not - be responsible for some form of abuse. And yet it was the abuse inflicted on life by the high-income world that brought life crashing to its knees. So, in the spirit of the times, God, Life and Mother Earth are doing the same. Here they name their abusers. Not to guilt and shame anyone. But to put a stop to the hate and judgment of the self-righteous, an abuse in its own right, and which is crippling the health of humanity.
The judgement of the flawed and imperfect, by the self-righteous, enters our world under the guise of righteousness and virtue. A spotlight shone upon those whose humanity is of an inadequate standard. But the true nature of this light is dark and sinister. A light cloaked in darkness. This is not the work of love. And our world is no better for it.
Conditional expression – in its various forms – is the timeless Word of God. But what are the other forms in which it has come into our world previously. What follows are five different forms of conditional expression. We can call them ambassadors or teachers if we like. But regardless of how we might view them, one thing remains undisputed. Each hold that we should treat life as sacred and reject the things that abuse life. That is to say, we should be prepared to put conditions on our expression and demands if we wish to honour and treat life as it has asked to be honoured and treated.
The following passage features in my 2017 book, 'Meditations for Action'. God seems confident we will begin caring for our world. How wrong he was! This piece explores the passage in the context of the image, which shows God shedding tears of anguish. “God and the devil looked down upon the earth. The devil laughed and taunted God, “Look at the mess down there. And much of it is in Your name. They are doing Your work! I have done well.” God replied, “Attaching My name to an action does not make it mine. But I see you have done well. You have created the ultimate test. I believe I have designed a world where love conquers all, and now it shall be revealed how well I have done My job.”
When you express yourself, particularly in judgement of another, life has no idea that what you are expressing is connected to something another person has said or done. In terms of your contribution to life, life only experiences the quality of your function. Which will either be sourced in love or something else.
In my great homeland of Australia, yesterday was RU OK day. A day where we check in on those we love to see how they are doing. A major focus of this initiative is suicide prevention. I took the time to check in with the greatest love of my life - life itself. I'm sure you won't be surprised by the response. Here's what life had to say...
From the earth to Our humanity to Our children to Our elderly to Our spiritual paths...and so on - most things we consider sacred in the high income world have not been treated as such. Yesterday Melbourne's sacred Shrine of Remembrance joined an elite club!
The high income world continues to crucify life from the inside out through our obsession with individual wants and tendency to choose portrayal over being. We have, to the great detriment of God, changed corrupted the energetic and physical health of humanity. God has asked us to 'be and trust' because his life depends on it. He said it...but what does he mean?
The bucket list mentality of the high-income world has been nothing but abusive to life. Now, after a lifetime of suffering, which in recent times has reached unprecedented depths, God, Life and Mother Earth are putting forward their bucket list. And they are reminding us that only by putting conditions on our expression and demands can we help make their dream a reality.
'Collective reconciliation only takes place when we make the same space in honour of the humanity of others.True reconciliation does not require a debt to be paid. Unconditional love puts no such conditions on anything. That’s what makes it unconditional. Reconciliation requires this type of love, acceptance and forgiveness. It’s a feeling. Not a ledger in the physical experience.'
'We are not, as we have led ourselves to believe, and contemporary personal development and spirituality teachers have taught us, the centre of the universe or powerful beyond anything we could ever imagine. At least this is not individually the case.We are a small part of what is a very beautiful, though fractured and flawed humanity. It is our ability to love and to extend love to any being or situation that is powerful and unlimited.'
Mother Earth writes a letter to humanity - each of us - to express her feelings and point of view on how we have treated her. She does not feel valued, loved and cared for. But no one who experiences abuse at the hands of another feels valued. right? In her own words, 'Know that my relationship with each of you is personal. And, as such, I will experience you exactly as you are. I will either benefit from your expression and the way you live. Or I will suffer because if it.'
Throughout many years of typing the word God into my phone I often made the error of typing an ‘H’ instead of a ‘G’. These letters sit close to one another on the keypad, and usually I was writing down the messages I was given in the middle of the night with one eye open and barely able to see. So, what I often wrote was, ‘Hod this’ or ‘Hod that’. This went on for quite a few years, without me ever really giving it another thought. But then the word Hod started to carry a bit of weight. I began to think there was a little more to my mistakes than I originally thought. And I came to the conclusion, already knowing that God had a great sense of humour, that he wasn’t as caught up in the word God for a name as we were. So Hod, or Hoddy when I was feeling playful, became my new nickname for God. Read on for more on Hod!
Religion is like someone putting a fence around God and expecting him to stay inside it while they take credit - and profit - for putting up the fence. How impressive. You put labels and restrictions on God. You imprison him and then claim wealth, power and influence as your reward. Did we ever think God would bow to or stay humbled by the religious and spiritual paths that failed him? And which still claim to speak on his behalf, and by doing so deny his own voice in the process. Not likely. And he hasn’t.
Living like Jesus is actually an option available to all of us. Just like being greedy, boastful, judgmental and excessive is. Both are examples of our human capacities. Our capacity for love. Our capacity for sacrifice. Our capacity for individually centred living. And our capacity for greed. On one end of this scale is the humanity of Jesus. He lived the life he did to show us it could be done. That was the whole point of his life. To show us an actual way of living. An option for how to live. On the other end of the scale is the high-income world. Here one pursues a form of freedom that means one can be, do and have whatever they want, when they want.
'You will hear capitalism blamed for our world’s struggles. How so? It’s just a thing. It did not put a gun to our heads and demand we abuse our world for economic gain. That was our free will. That was our choice.' We all have the choice to be gentle, or abusive, when it comes to our expression and demands in this lifetime. One person who chose to live with conditional expression so that his life honoured all life as sacred, was Jesus. He was not extraordinary. He was human. He had to be! In order to prove that living a life of unconditional love - which one can only do by putting conditions on their expression so that who they are honours life - was possible.
"We can say we live in unprecedented times. But there's a reason. It's because the extent of our physical, energetic and psychological abuse of life is also unprecedented. That's how things work. If the level of abuse something experiences reaches unprecedented levels, then so too will its suffering."
So focused on shining a light on what is dark in our world, we failed to see what was really destroying us - the darkness in the light.
God - and Life - have been failed by the religious and spiritual paths which claimed guardianship for our world, along with authority for their sacred word. As life cried out in desperation, making it clear a catastrophic breakdown was imminent, they were oblivious, participating wholeheartedly in the marketplace our world had become. The result? They are fired and the only 'way' that was ever going to work for life itself, takes their place. The way of conditional expression. God's contemporary word.
Life is not about what you become, nor is it about how much you can accrue in this lifetime. At least not in God's eyes, and from the perspective of life itself. Nor is the body the barometer of the soul. In fact, the body is more often than not, the soul's greatest betrayer. In fact our attachments to this world are murdering life, and inflicting incredible suffering on God. Who says? God says!
Judgement, boasfulness and our rampant use of energetic tools of manipulation, such as the law of attraction, have been murdering the life we belong to. And those responsible are often people who portray themselves as inspiring and those who believe themselves superior to others. We are all going to be seen for what we really were to life. Not what we thought we were to the world.
To 'be and trust' is one of the key concepts of conditional expression and essential to our collective 'way'. That's if our way is to honour the energetic health of life. 'Be and Trust' were the first three words, repeated three times, that God spoke to me. Or at least the first three words he spoke, when I was actually clear on who it was, I was communicating with. Read on to see why!
Our new commandment from what many know as God, and others as life, is that we live – every one of us - with conditional expression. That we put conditions on our expression and demands so that who we are is supportive of life itself, rather than unnecessarily harmful.
If our world is sick, it is because we make it so. Whenever a human being chooses a course of action and expression that prioritises them, as an individual, over the balance of life itself, life must suffer. Unfortunately for life, it is the default setting of the high income world to place little to no restrictions on the things we do and the lifestyles we create - collectively speaking, of course - all while making declarations of our great love for humanity and the earth on boastful social media posts.
That we live with conditional expression - where one places conditions on their expression and demands so the life they live is life-giving to life, rather than harmful - is our contemporary instruction from God and life itself. As such, we are also told that the health of the life we belong to relies on our obeying laws that support that life. Today, the first of four laws - the Law of Alignment and Expression!
The law of balance is one of the guiding laws of conditional expression. Our world works to laws of balance. Nothing we can write, do or say will ever change that. Who we are will either support the creation of balanced world, or guarantee that life itself - and many others - must suffer from imbalance. Our world is the way it is for a reason. And it is not because all we do and express is in support of balance.
Short video - and text - exploring, 'Why Conditional Expression?' Perhaps a more appropriate question might be, 'how could it be any other way?'
Advent season consists of the four weeks leading up to Christmas and it serves several purposes. It is an experience of anticipation and preparation for the ‘second coming’ of Christ and a time of reflection and remembrance of the life of Jesus. The only problem with Advent now is that it is no longer relevant. It has run its course and no longer has God’s blessing.
The law of revelation, in essence, is about seeing the world differently to the way many see the world today. It is about seeing the world as it is, in truth. It demands we view our world in all its light and darkness and in all its beauty and ugliness. It calls on humanity to see past the ear and eye candy of a world obsessed with creating a perception that everything is amazing and view them for what they are.
Let me share a simple fact with the world. If the foundation for our lives, is our own lives, then our world will never be at peace. It will continue to suffer. But if the foundation for our lives is life in its entirety - the world and humanity and the earth - then it stands a chance.
Our world has become a 'my abuse of the world is okay, but yours isn't' type of world. And many who are most outraged by certain types of abuse account for some of the most abusive in other ways.
So what does life actually need from us? Maybe it’s time we backed off the individual intensity and focused more on giving life its best year yet. After all, it’s the high income world that’s murdering life in the first place. So what can we do to give life the things it needs? Read on to better understand the impact our way of life has on life from life's perspective.
